Ingredients
For the pear filling
4 pears, peeled
The juice of an orange
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
1/8 cup of sugar
2 tbsp. of cornstarch
For the crisp topping
1/2 cup of melted butter
The zest of an orange
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 cup of old-fashioned oatmeal
1/4 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 380F.
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients “FOR THE PEAR FILLING”.
- In a baking dish, add the pear filling.
- In another bowl, combine all the ingredients “FOR THE CRISP TOPPING” in the order indicated.
- Spoon the topping over the pear filling.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the crisp is golden brown.
