6 cups of cold water
1 ½ cup of steel-cut oats (or rolled oats)
3 dates, pitted
1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt

  1. In a large bowl, add the steel-cut oats and cover with lukewarm water. Keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes. This step is to allow the steel-cut oats to slightly puff up.
  2. Using a strainer, strain and rinse the oat.
  3. Add all the ingredients “FOR THE OAT MILK” to a high-speed blender and blend for about 1 minute.
  4. Using a very fine strainer, strain the oat milk to remove any oat remnant, once this step completed, strain for a second time.
  5. Enjoy cold!
